How do I measure my trailer axle & hubs?
The axle above shows the measurements needed when replacing your trailer axle.
Instruction
1. Using a measuring tape, measure from the outside of the hub, to the the outside of the opposite hub.
2. Using your tape measure, measure the spring center by placing your tape end directly in the the middle of one spring center mounting bracket, to the center of the opposite spring center mounting bracket.
Note: Use the same method for measuring a drop axle. Measure straight across the drop.
The hubs above show the measurement you will need to replace your trailer hubs. There are a few different patterns to choose from, so choose the hub pattern that matches the hub pattern you have on your trailer.
Instruction
1. Using your tape measure, measure from the center of any lug, to the center of the furthest lug away from the lug you started with.
